BIO

Scott E. Reynolds is the founder and managing Member of RLG.  Formerly a partner with the prestigious, New Jersey-based law firm of Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti LLP, Scott's practice focuses on advising indivduals and small and middle-market companies in various aspects of complex litigation claims.  Scott represents a diverse group of clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including financial institutions, private equity funds, venture capital firms, commodities trading platforms, real estate developers/holding companies, municipalities and insurers and brokers.  Scott understands the challenges and burdens litigation may present to clients and, therefore, each day he strives to provide his clients with high quality, efficient and effective litigation advice.

Scott has considerable experience advising clients in litigation matters involving breach of contract, partnership and shareholder disputes, shareholder derivative claims, professional liability, premises liability and product liability.  Additionally, a substantial part of Scott's practice also includes counseling regional and national financial institutions in matters concerning securities, lender liability suits, fraud, negotiable instruments, loan participations, commercial foreclosure, asset recovery and loan workouts.

Scott was recognized by the New Jersey Law Journal as a “New Leader of the Bar” (formerly known as "40 Under 40").  The New Jersey Law Journal awarded this distinction to only 50 attorneys in the state who “are emblematic of the next wave of leadership of the New Jersey bar, based on their achievements so far in their careers.”   Scott also has been included on the New Jersey Super Lawyer “Rising Star” list in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013 and again in 2014.

Scott received his undergraduate degree from The University of Delaware in 1996 and his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law – Newark in 1999.  While pursuing his law degree, Scott was Managing Editor of the Rutgers Law Record.  Prior to entering private practice, Scott served as Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Gerald C. Escala, Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, Chancery Division, General Equity Part.  He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and various federal courts.

CHARITABLE ACTIVITY
Scott is pro bono counsel to the PGA of America, New Jersey Section, Inc. and its charitable arm, the New Jersey Golf Foundation, Inc., where he regularly attends board meetings and provides legal guidance to assist both organizations to achieve their goals.

Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, and is passionate about golf, music and exercise.
